Hemp Chokers and Necklaces!
These cool chokers and necklaces, made by Tawny, are very unique and original works of art. They are Tawny's own hemp designs, and you won't find anything like them anywhere else!! (Except for her other website, Hippiepad.com, that is.)
As always, shipping to anywhere in the U.S. is free! Shipping to most other locations is also free (if you are outside of the U.S. we will email you after you order if additional shipping charges are required, or you may email us prior to ordering to find out if shipping charges apply to your order).

Tawny uses buttons as clasps for some of her jewelry, and alligator clips for others. Those with alligator clip clasps are adjustable depending how you use the clip. You can either use the clip itself as a clasp (see photo, upper left), or pull the clip and bead through the loop (see photo, upper right, you can also pull it through and clip it to the piece of jewelry if you don't want to leave in dangling) to adjust to a smaller size. For this reason, length measurements for macrame jewelry with alligator clip clasps are given in a range.
Tawny mostly uses alligator clips or buttons for jewelry clasps, as she feels they make more secure clasps than the traditional knot throught the loop type of closure. And, since the buttons are often decorative in and of themselves, they actually become a part of the jewelry decoration along with the beads, especially in the case of her anklets and bracelets.
Please note that width measurements are the measurements of the width of the hemp portion of the jewelry only, not including the beads, which often make the piece wider.
And remember, hemp jewelry may feel itchy or scratchy at first, but after you wear it a few times it will soften up.
Please measure your neck before purchasing to make sure the item you are interested in will fit. Your neck should measure at least 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the measurement given so that the choker/necklace is not too tight (in the case of adjustable hemp jewelry, your measurement should be at least 1/2 to 1 inch smaller than the largest measurement given for the item, or smaller). This will prevent both you and us from dealing with the frustration of having to return an item. Thank You!

"Illusion"
This is a choker that will appeal to the guys. It was knotted with natural hemp and includes silver tone beads, aqua blue, crackled glass beads and a stainless steel "surf board" pendant with a raised tribal design and aqua blue enamel inlay. A silver tone button with a Celtic knot design provides the clasp for this piece. This awesome choker is 1/4" wide and 16 3/4" long. The pendant is about 2 3/16" long.

This cool hemp choker for the guys was knotted using natural hemp in a spiral pattern. It has silver tone beads and oblong cherry stained wooden beads. The pendant is a spectacular 2" long pewter dragon. And, it features a silver tone button closure. This "knightly" piece of art is about 1/4" wide and 17 1/4" long.

"Mystery"
This killer choker was made with black hemp cord. It includes silver tone rose beads, faux magnetic hematite beads and red Czech glass beads. The gorgeous pendant is pewter with a translucent red inlay that allows the raised hearts to show. It looks great as it catches the light! The choker measures 3/16" wide and 16" long. It has a silver tone floral button for the clasp. The pendant is about 1 3/8" in diameter and measures 1 3/4" long from the top of the loop.

This choker is a work of art. It was knotted in a herringbone design using midnight blue hemp cord. The teardrop pendant is glass with a rich blue ribbon running through it and green and orange swirls. A simple, large, gold tone button provides the clasp for this piece. This fantastic choker is 3/4" wide and 16 1/4" long, and the pendant is 1 3/8" long and 11/16" at it's widest point.

"Psychedelica"
This "magic" shroom choker was hand-knotted with a multi color hemp cord in shades of orange, red and brown. It was tied in a spiral pattern. It features lots of beads, some in a silver tone, some natural wood, and some painted wood beads that are red with leafy swirls and shell designs. A small, cute, silver tone, mushroom pendant hangs in the center. This piece of jewelry is about 3/16" wide, and since it has an alligator clip clasp it is adjustable from 14 1/4" to 16 1/2" long. The pendant is 1/2" long and 9/16" wide when measured across the mushroom cap.
